  • A2 - Sawn Treated Easi Edge 150 x 47mm (6" x 2") Kiln Dried C16 FSC x 1
  • A3 - Sawn Treated Easi Edge 150 x 47mm (6" x 2") Kiln Dried C16 FSC x 5
  • A4 - Sawn Treated Easi Edge 150 x 47mm (6" x 2") Kiln Dried C16 FSC x 2

The Frame

To start the base frame, you’ll need A0 & A6. Mark both lengths at the same time at 678mm, 1235mm.

Layout the timber to match the diagram.

Start by screwing the two end rafters to xx using XX screws. You can then check the diagonal measurements and move the frame so they’re both xx.
Then attach the remaining rafters followed by the noggins (xx). A good tip is to use the noggins as a guide on each end to get the spacing to match.
It might be easier to attach the noggins as you add each rafter so that you have more space for the drill.

Floor Insulation

To insulate the floor you’ll need to add rails to hold the insulation in place. Use xx and screw them in place along each side of the rafters.
Push the insulation panels in place. It’s best to start from the middle so you don’t have to step on it as it will be fragile.

Floor OSB

Lay the OSB boards onto the frame and screw in place one by one using 50mm screws roughly every 300-400mm

The Back Frame

Pre-drill holes using an x drill bit as per the drawing.
Layout the timber to match the diagram.
